New or Updated Indicators
Update #20 Updated 14 Employment and Income indicators using the 2005 ACS and 2006 CPS data 11/2/2006

The Employment and Income indicators featured on the State-Level Data Online System have been updated to include the 2005 American Community Survey (ACS) data and the 2006 Current Population Survey's Annual Social and Economic (ASEC) Supplement, the latest version for both of these data sources. Indicators that have been updated include the following:

Children age 6 to 12 with all available parents in the labor force
Children in low-income families living in households without a telephone
Children in low-income households where housing costs exceed 30 percent of income
Children in low-income working families, by Age Group
Children living in crowded housing
Children living in families where no parent has full-time, year-round employment
Children living in low-income households where no adults work
Children under age 6 with all available parents in the labor force
Children under age 6 with no parent in the labor force
Children without a telephone at home
Children without a vehicle at home
Female-headed families receiving child support
Median family (with child) income
Unemployed teens age 16 to 19
