New or Updated Indicators
Update #30 Updated New and Updated Poverty and Employment & Income indicators from Census Bureau's newly released 2006 ACS tables 8/28/2007

11 Poverty indicators and 3 Employment and Income indicators have been updated and a new Poverty indicator has been added to the State-Level Data Online System. The estimates for these indicators implement newly released tables from the Census Bureau and feature data from the 2006 American Community Survey (ACS).

Poverty Indicators (updated)
Children in poverty (100%)
Children in poverty (100%) by race for the U.S.
Children in extreme poverty (50%)
Children below 150% poverty
Children below 200% poverty
Children under age 5 in poverty
Children under age 6 in poverty
Persons 18 to 24 in poverty
Population in poverty
Single-parent families with related children that are below poverty
Married-couple families with related children that are below poverty

Poverty Indicators (new)
Families with related children that are below poverty

Employment and Income
Children under age 6 with all available parents in the labor force
Children under age 6 with no parent in the labor force
Unemployed teens age 16 to 19
