Welcome to the February 2004 issue of the KIDS COUNT Network Newsletter.  This issue focuses on the Technical Assistance resources offered to KIDS COUNT grantees.  We urge you to take advantage of what's offered and let us know if you have other ideas on how we might help you strengthen your work.  Also, if you haven't visited the Network Website lately, we urge you to take a look. 2004 TA Resources

FrameWorks

Frameworks will continue to be available to KC grantees to assist with the strategic communications challenges of data-based advocacy.  

InnoNet

The Innovation Network will continue to work with KIDS COUNT grantees on a variety of organizational evaluation issues in 2004.  

Alliance for Justice

The Alliance for Justice has been engaged by the Casey Foundation to provide targeted, on-site workshops to KIDS COUNT grantees to help build their capacity to participate in public policy issues.  

CBPP

The Center on Budget and Policy Priorities will continue to provide information and assistance to KIDS COUNT grantees in the areas of budget and fiscal analysis.

Child Trends / PRB

In 2004 our data partners, Child Trends and PRB will continue to provide data identification and analysis support to KIDS COUNT grantees as requested.  

CSSP

While not an official KC TA provider, the Center for the Study of Social Policy has worked closely with KC grantees over the last several years in the development of the Policy Matters publications and tools.  

MAG

In 2004 the Management Assistance Group will continue one-on-one technical assistance to a small number of KIDS COUNT projects seeking to strengthen their resource development capacity.
