Race
Matters Toolkit
The
Race Matters Toolkit, a practical collection of storytelling,
system reform, policy and data-analysis tools, represents
part of the Casey Foundation's aspiration to be a leading
national foundation in recognizing and attending to the challenge
of racial equity. With a long and deep commitment to building
better futures for disadvantaged children and their families
in the United States , the Foundation has recognized the cumulative,
compounding, and enduring effects of embedded racial inequities
on the life opportunities of so many families of color. The
Race Matters Toolkit is designed to help advocates mobilize
resources - data, knowledge, strategies, and tools - for vulnerable
populations of color in order to reduce racial disparities/disproportionality
and promote racial equity.
